Q: How do I apply if there is not a Kelly FedSecure office in my area?
A: Just because there is no local office near you, it does not mean there are no positions in your area. Please call 1-877-417-4757 for more information.
Q: What types of benefits will I receive from Kelly FedSecure?
A: Our contract positions offer highly competitive pay and some of the most attractive benefits in the industry, including health insurance, training, vacation pay and portable 401(k) plans.
Q: How soon can you identify opportunities and place me in a position?
A: We have many positions that are immediately available; however it is not our goal simply to find a job for you, but to identify the right opportunity for you. That process might be immediate or it could take longer, but we want to make sure you're satisfied. A Kelly FedSecure placement specialist will spend time with you to gain a thorough understanding of your needs so we can match you with the position that best fits your skills, qualifications and personal and professional goals.
Q: Will someone remain in contact with me once I begin employment with Kelly FedSecure?
A: Yes. You will have a primary contact for issues such as benefits, payroll, HR issues, skill development, career planning and/or day-to-day concerns that need to be addressed.
Q: When can I expect my performance to be reviewed, and what are the criteria for evaluation?
A: Performance reviews are as important to us as they are to you. We want to be sure you and your manager understand each other's expectations and are satisfied with the quality of work. We maintain contact with you and your manager on a regular basis to handle immediate issues and conduct performance reviews. Some of the attributes we evaluate are attendance, punctuality, work efficiency, attitude, qualifications and willingness to get the job done.
Q: What if the job I get isn't right for me?
A: Our recruiters go through an extensive process to understand your career objectives before you are placed in a job. The goal of this process is to help ensure the best job placement for you. However, that's not to say that there won't be a rare occasion when the job just doesn't work out. In this case, your recruiter will work with you to find a job that better suits your needs. It is important that you communicate with your recruiter if you are considering a job move, so we have ample time to notify your manager as well as look for other opportunities for you.
Q: What happens if I’m on a project assignment that ends?
A: One of the objectives of the Kelly FedSecure career planning process is to assist you in determining your short- and long-term goals and cooperatively identify new opportunities for you in the next phase of your career with Kelly. By understanding your career goals, your recruiter can continuously look for opportunities for you and help proactively plan for the next steps after your current assignment is completed.
